Le Volpe e L’Uva Revisited

I have mentioned this enoteca a couple of times on my blog, but I go there often and it is a place not to be missed when you visit Florence. It is a little difficult to find, but worth the effort. Tucked behind Piazza Santa Felicita, in the vicinity of Palazzo Pitti, in Oltrarno, Piazza dei Rossi, 1, you can sit at the tiny bar inside, or the patio outside. There are plenty of wines to try by the glass, and don’t forget to try one of the cheese plates, crostini or a tiny sandwich. The tuna con armagnac is my favorite!
There are bottles for sale to take home, or back to the hotel room, and the owners are extremely knowledgeable about wines. Try it!
