Sangria is a wine punch typical of Spain and Portugal. I just recently made my first batch of the summer. I have experimented over the years with this recipe and believe it to now be perfection! Try it. It is the perfect summer thirst quencher.
One bottle of red wine
½ cup oj
½ cup Brandy
½ cup 7 up or Sprite
¼ cup sugar
Sliced/chopped fruit such as oranges, lemons, limes, apples, peaches, pears. Mix together and serve over ice. Best left to “soak” for at least 6 hours.YUM!
looks yummy! good picture! see you aren’t letting your hair grow …maybe this winter?
Ok, I’ve just made up a pitcher of your Sangria…I can’t wait to try it…it’s 12:39am Friday morning and I need it for Saturday brunch after the Christening…should be well “rested” by then…yummy!
