Bar Baldi-Genova, Italia

While strolling in Genova, we were attracted to a wide beautiful street with many palaces and music piped into it! It was American Jazz music. It was late at night, so the street was not crowded, and it was magical strolling past the elegant palaces with the music playing. The street is via Garibaldi.
The street itself dates back to 1550, and was originally called Strada Maggiore, and then Nuovo Strada, and in 1852 via Garbaldi. In 1852 it became a part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Although it was January, the weather was surprisingly nice, and we saw some outside seating for a bar and decided to stop for a drink. We ordered negroni’s and when then brought the drinks, they also brought two plates of food! Tiny sandwiches, olives, chips and salsa were including, all for the 7 euro price per drink!
Bar Baldi is located directly across from Palazzo Bianco which is now a museum. It is called Galleria Brignole-Sale de Ferrari. It looks incredible and I wish we could have gone inside it. Maybe next time!
